Work
I'm best fast
I am at my best when I'm empowered to move fast and rapidly ideate, build, learn and iterate. I am a habitual optimizer. I will make whatever you have now, better.

I am a Product Designer driven to seek elegant solutions to complex problems. I work with teams to learn from their users and turn those insights into digital products people love.

I love being involved in the entire product process - from concept to launch - and collaborating with teams to add value and delight to people's lives.
My Journey
My career began with 6 years as an interactive designer/developer for various advertising agencies. I crafted interactive experiences for major brands like Blackberry, Coca Cola, General Motors, and more.

One time - I looked at a creative brief for a pharmaceutical company for less than 10 seconds (I'm best fast) and formed the seed of the concept that led to multi-million dollars for the business.

While I excelled in quick creative insights, I often questioned the purpose, audience, and success metrics of projects. This curiosity ultimately led me to...

Product Design. UX/UI Design. Whatever you want to call it. Where I've now been for 12 years.

Outside of Work
Family
Though the project that I'm most proud of being involved in has been my family. I am a proud husband and father to our 2 children - 5 and 2 years old. That has become my main hobby outside of work - exploring the world with them. I've gotten really good at using hair ties, making paper jewelry (which has also improved my previously non-existent illustration skills) and setting up elaborate wooden train sets.
I made this
Pizza
For the past year or so I've been working on perfecting my homemade pizza - and most specifically the dough. It's been fun to have apply the product desing process to something not digital - ideate, build, learn and iterate. Learning how to mix and stretch the dough. How much hydration works best. How long to ferment. How long to ferment at room temperature. How long to ferment at cold temperature. So many different variables to consider. It's been awesome to see the progress and see others enjoying the fruits of your labour.

I plan to make these at the local farmer's market this summer.
